Rhode Island Lottery players can commemorate the Ocean State's 50th anniversary by playing a new celebratory instant-win game. The "50 Years" Anniversary instant game can be played for $2, $5, and $10. The top prizes for these games are 5,000, $30,000, and $50,000.
How to play "50 Years" Anniversary
To play, first decide how much you wish to wager and enter that amount in the ticket cost box using the + and – symbols. You may wager 50 cents, $1, $2, $3, $5, $10, or $20. Then click on the TRY button. This will instantly reveal the five winning numbers down the left side of the play area. Next, click on each of the 50 Years Prize symbols to reveal your numbers. Alternatively, you can click on the Reveal All button. If any of your numbers match the winning numbers, you win the prize shown.
If you find a gift box symbol, this will trigger the Party Bonus. The Party Bonus allows you six spins of the wheel. With each spin, you will highlight the three sections of the wheel: Inner Wheel, Middle Wheel, and Outer Wheel. When the wheel stops, highlighted symbols on the outer will fill in the symbols in the prize meter. The Middle Wheel awards 1X, 2X, and 3X multipliers. The Inner Wheel gives you an extra spin if the +1 symbol is highlighted. Multiple prizes are available, including $100, $200, $300, $400, $1000, $2000, $10,000, and $250,000.
If you trigger the The Lot symbol, it will connect to multiple prizes in the play area, and you win the total amount. The game is over when all the numbers and symbols have been revealed and you have completed any bonus games.
Get a 50th Anniversary second chance
Non-winning tickets can be entered into a second chance draw. Four winners from the second chance entries will get to play a game at a live event at Bally's Twin River Lincoln. One winner will also be drawn from tickets played on the "50 Years" Anniversary instant game between January 4, 2024, and December 2, 2024. Each of the five event winners could bag a prize of $10,000, $50,000, $100,000, $500,000, or $1 million. That's not all; a top prize from each of the "50 Years" Anniversary instant games will also be awarded in the second chance promotion. Winners of the $500,000 and $1 million prizes have the option to choose either a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity.
